❱ DESCRIPTION

Completing the Prologue in a decent time is the key to an S-Rank. If you don’t waste time and skip every cutscene you can allow yourself a few errors like loading a checkpoint or missing one of the 2 mission tasks.

It takes a while for Big Boss to stand up and walk. In the meantime follow Ishmael. Once you can walk, soldiers will appear and you have to dodge into a side room quickly.

(06:32) Follow his orders in the next hallway and press against the wall. Walk towards Ishmael and sprint the last bit when you are told to. Follow his lead until you come to a room with a lot of beds behind curtains. (08:24) Immediately crawl to Ishmael under the first bed opposite of you and wait until the enemy is gone.

Leave the room and follow Ishmaels orders once again to hold still on the floor. Treat your injury after the cutscene and move downstairs in the next room where you should take cover.

(12:49)You will get your first weapon and can use it on two enemies. These enemies don’t trigger the reflex mode, so this doesn’t void your mission task.

Foyer

(13:52)The next room does however. Be careful here and crawl all the way to the order side while staying close to the left wall. Once you’re at the end you see a spot where you can jump down. Wait until the enemy turns away and jump down. Lay down immediately and crawl towards the exit.

A cutscene will trigger when you’re close to the exit, dodge and run outside after that.

Man on Fire

(14:48)You now have to get rid of the man on fire. You won’t be able to beat him, your goal is simply to keep him at a safe distance and interrupt his shooting. Only shoot when he gets close and is about to shoot. If you have been gunning through this mission so far and have a good time, you can afford to get hit by him and miss the mission task.

After that the prologue comes to and end and you can collect your first S-Rank.
