Easter Egg 1: Slenderman (00:14)
On the map “Zomboss Estate”, it’s possible to find a chomper eating the Slenderman. This is different on the last gen consoles where Slenderman was standing in the same spot…
Easter Egg 2: Mass Effect (01:03)
The map “Jewel Junction” has a train which passes through every minute or so. Part of the trains cargo is the Normandy from the Mass Effect series.
Easter Egg 3: Lord of the Rings (01:48)
On the map “Jewel Junction”, you can find a poster claiming “You shall not pass”. This is a reference to a popular line spoken by Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
Easter Egg 4: Dragon Age (02:34)
The Final Easter Egg from “Jewel Junction” is a reference to the inquisitor helmet from Dragon Age: Inquisition. This can also be found on the map “Driftwood Shores”.
Easter Egg 5: Achievement Hunter (03:22)
On the map “Garden Centre” you can find a homage to the Achievement Hunter guys…
Easter Egg 6: Camera (04:10)
On the map “Port Scallywag”, if you stand next to the camera on the boat and press up, down, left, right, the camera will flash. You’ll be needing a bigger boat…
Easter Egg 7: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (04:57)
On the map “Driftwood Shores”, you can find a couple of references to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. The first being the boat “King of the Red Dandelions”, which is referencing the “King of the Red Lions” boat from the game.
To the right of the boat you will be able to see an island that is remarkably similar to Outset Island from the same game.
Easter Egg 8: Bioshock (05:37)
Also on “Driftwood Shores” is a reference to the Bioshock series. A construction company named “The Rapture” can be seen advertising its services on a hut. Rapture is the utopian city that is the setting of Bioshock 1 & 2.
Easter Egg 9: Bugs Bunny (06:10)
Finally, on the map “Sharkbite Shores”, there is a small hut named “Whats up Dock”, this is an obvious reference to the quote made famous by Bugs Bunny.
